Yoga encourages me to become aware of my breath, how I feel in that given moment, and move to where the body and breath take me.

As I listen to my body, I breathe and flow mindfully. And sometimes playfully. A journey to healing and wholeness begins. With silence and stillness as a nourishing nectar, I get to know and understand intimately my body and its connection to pain, loss, and grief. Yoga supports me in bringing clarity of mind and calmness while building strength, balance and flexibility.

Creating a sequence that works in my body at that moment in time, I draw wisdom, inspiration and radiance from B.K.S. Iyengar, Maty Ezraty, Paula Lay, Sarah Powers, Paul Grilley, Bernie Clark, Sarah Ball and Lisa Weinhold. Immersing in their knowledge is transformational.

My yoga story began with Ashtanga yoga more than 15 years ago. Learning the sequence of postures using the specific tools of breath, bandha, and drishti—the tristhāna of Ashtanga yoga—harnessed my focus and concentration. In that structured space of practice came change and personal growth.

The closure of the Ashtanga studio created the opportunity to explore other yoga lineages. I became curious how being still in Baddha Konasana (Butterfly Pose) in the pure presence of awareness would affect me. It did. In the most profound and impactful way.

As with all yoga stories, each chapter is surprising, challenging and meaningful illuminating the path towards inner direction.  My practice has taken me on an extraordinary journey in which my search for wisdom and truth is behind everything I do and everything that happens to me.

I teach what I have first experienced myself—weaving together yoga philosophy, Buddhist wisdom, pranayama, and asana. Drishti directs my focus as prana flows through. My heart is full of gratitude and humility for the continuous knowledge and mentoring received.

To teach from a place of consciousness and intention is my commitment. Guiding students from a space of curiosity, kindness and gentleness help create their own space of deep self-intimacy and healing.

Here to be the change.

Here to help humankind.

Discovering our oneness with ourselves.

Discovering our oneness with the universe.
